Langan Engineering and Environmental Services
Ali Ciblak, Ph.D. is an Environmental Engineer with Langan Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. in Lawrenceville, NJ. He earned his Doctorate in environmental engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. His research focused on development of novel, sustainable, and solar-powered electrochemical technologies for remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. He authored eight peer-reviewed articles regarding electrically-assisted technologies for the remediation of mix plumes in groundwater and in low permeable soil. Since joining Langan, he has involved in design and implementation of various remediation technologies, most notably chlorinated solvents and the emerging contaminants PFAS and 1,4-dioxane. He also continues his research in treatment technologies, including electrochemical treatment of emerging contaminants, in collaboration with several universities.
