A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Mark has 40 years of experience in analytical instrumentation and subsurface characterization and remediation. After representing TRS Group for more than 13 years, Mark Kluger joined the company in July 2017 and is responsible for national and international market development. Mark is highly involved with applying in-situ thermal remediation technologies for emerging contaminants, including 1,4-dioxane and PFAS, heating the contaminated matrix to sub-steaming temperatures to accelerate naturally occurring processes, such as the bioremediation of chlorinated ethenes and petroleum hydrocarbons and the hydrolysis of pesticides and energetic compounds. Mark is a long-standing member of ITRC, primarily working with the DNAPL and sediment teams.
