U.S. Geological Survey
Dr. Gray is a Research Chemist with the Strategic Laboratory Science Branch of the U.S. Geological Survey in Denver, CO. He holds M.S. and Ph.D degrees from the University of California, Berkeley in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on the development of analytical methods for the determination of environmental organic contaminants and the application of those techniques to understand their behavior in natural and engineered systems and to support national USGS programs as well as external collaborations. Past and current research has focused on GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS, and LC/HRMS analysis of emerging contaminants including steroid hormones, surfactants, and PFAS compounds.
