14 yrs experience (10 yrs in consulting and 4 at USACE). Done all the HTRW from CERCLA to RCRA, initial investigation to Remedial Action. At USACE: 3yrs project geologist, 1 yr project manager. Spent last 3.5 yrs dedicated to supporting Air Force and Army PFOS/PFOA investigations and mitigation nationwide to include S. Korea. Conducted numerous PA's, SI's, Expanded SI's, NTCRAs, TCRAs, involved in focused studies to include treatability studies, ESS and hydraulic modeling for contaminant mass transport to drinking water receptors. Helped plan and execute and trouble shoot installation of smaller private in-home treatment systems such as Point of Use and Point of Entry to medium sized systems at commercial facilities and mobile home parks, and larger scale systems at municipalities. Currently, I primarily provide contract support to the AFCEC PFOS/PFOA Team, manage USACE project delivery teams (technical disciplines), and am involved in communications at the DoD installation level along with regular interaction with State agencies and the public. I continue to support the DoD as a liaison and advocate and vet innovative technologies for mitigation and remediation strategies for PFOS and PFOA.
